How To Make Your Home Make You Look Rich

Posted on March 24, 2017 by Daniel at 8:40 pm

You don’t have to have a lot of money to have a home that makes you look like you do. You simply need a little money, an eye for style, and a little motivation to make some changes to your home. Something as simple as a new carpet or new curtains could make a big difference in your home and how upscale it looks.

If you want your home to look fashionable, you just need to put some time and money into making it look that way. Here are some things you can do.

Do Some Remodeling

If your home has older features, indoors or out, it may be time to do some repairs and updates on your home. Maybe you need to upgrade your kitchen or bathroom. Your kitchen may need an island or some new appliances. Your bathroom may need a shower or tub upgrade.

If your home feels too small, you might want to expand your rooms or even add a new one. If the outside of your home is looking a little sad, it could be time for a new roof or some new siding. Maybe you even want to put on a nice deck.

Fix Up Your Yard

Don’t just put in a deck, there are other things you can do to your yard to make your home look more beautiful (and expensive). You may want to plant some nice trees (fruit-bearing trees can bring you some tasty treats when they mature). Or you could put in a flower bed or two.

Mow your lawn on a regular basis to keep it healthy (you might even want to fertilize it). You could also do some extra decorating of your yard with cedar chips and maybe even a fountain.

Your Windows Say A Lot

Much like the eyes are the windows to the soul, your windows are the eyes to your home’s soul. That means you want them to look appeal from the inside and the outside. Pick curtains or blinds that look good on both sides.

Make sure that you keep your windows clean, on both sides. You might even want to add shutters to the outsides, for a little different look.

Creating A Gorgeous Indoor Space

Clean carpets, dust everywhere, keep your walls fingerprint free and sweep and mop the floors that aren’t carpeted. Cleaning is definitely important, but unlike those rich folks, you’re going to be doing it all yourself.

It’s also about how you’re decorating your home. You don’t just want to throw things around haphazardly. Everything needs a home, and you want to make sure that you are decorating with all the in style items (like throw pillows and classic art prints).
